A new strategy for push-relabel algorithm framework for matroid optimization

In this paper we present a combinatorial push-relabel algorithm based on lowest level/bfs traversal for matroid optimization. In contrast with other known algorithms our procedure uses lowest level rule and needs no lexicographic order of the elements. Combined with a reduction of the number of active basis our strategy gives a time complexity of O(n).

In this paper we present a combinatorial push-relabel algorithm for sub-modular flows. Our procedure, using a lowest level rule combined with a bfs-like traversal, needs no lexicographic order of the elements, and gives a time complexity of O(n).

A push-relabel framework for submodular function minimization and applications to parametric optimization

Recently, the first combinatorial strongly polynomial algorithms for submodular function minimization have been devised independently by Iwata, Fleischer, and Fujishige and by Schrijver. In this paper, we improve the running time of Schrijver’s algorithm by designing a push-relabel framework for submodular function minimization (SFM). We also extend this algorithm to carry out parametric minimi...

A class of multi-agent discrete hybrid non linearizable systems: Optimal controller design based on quasi-Newton algorithm for a class of sign-undefinite hessian cost functions

In the present paper, a class of hybrid, nonlinear and non linearizable dynamic systems is considered. The noted dynamic system is generalized to a multi-agent configuration. The interaction of agents is presented based on graph theory and finally, an interaction tensor defines the multi-agent system in leader-follower consensus in order to design a desirable controller for the noted system. A...

Two-Level Push-Relabel Algorithm for the Maximum Flow Problem

We describe a two-level push-relabel algorithm for the maximum flow problem and compare it to the competing codes. The algorithm generalizes a practical algorithm for bipartite flows. Experiments show that the algorithm performs well on several problem families.
